Citizen Information Portal

Authorized responses to common optimization inquiries.

The Joint Nexus Administration maintains this resource in the interest of citizen transparency. The questions below represent the most frequently submitted inquiries across all optimization sectors. Each response reflects current JNA policy and has been reviewed for accuracy by the Office of Citizen Compliance.

If your inquiry is not addressed here, contact your designated Optimization Facilitator through your Nexus Link interface. Unresolved optimization questions are flagged for follow-up assessment.

  • About the Joint Nexus Administration

The Joint Nexus Administration is the governing body responsible for the optimization and advancement of human potential across Denver's efficiency zones. Established in 2033 in response to documented resource allocation failures during the Resource Crisis, the JNA administers the Efficiency Score system, oversees resource distribution, and implements optimization protocols across all sectors of civic life. The JNA operates on a single foundational principle: a measured society is an improved society.

  • Understanding Your Efficiency Score

The Efficiency Score is a comprehensive real-time metric that measures individual performance across five weighted factors: work productivity (50%), resource consumption efficiency (15%), social compliance metrics (15%), health optimization adherence (10%), and civic contribution measurements (10%). Scores range from 0 to 100 and are updated continuously through the citizen wristband interface. The score determines access to housing, nutrition allocation, relationship eligibility, and advancement opportunities within the JNA's tiered citizen framework. Citizens are encouraged to view their score as a reflection of their contribution to collective optimization, not as a judgment of personal worth.

Citizens may access their current Efficiency Score at any time through the Efficiency Diagnostic Portal.

  • Citizen Classification Framework

The JNA recognizes six citizen classifications based on Efficiency Score range. Falcon tier citizens scoring 95 to 100 represent the highest performing segment of the optimized population and receive maximum access across all civic systems. Fox tier citizens scoring 85 to 94 demonstrate strong optimization adherence with limited autonomy provisions. Beaver tier citizens scoring 65 to 84 maintain standard access with continuous monitoring protocols. Citizens scoring 40 to 64 are subject to targeted optimization intervention and restricted access pending improvement. Citizens scoring 25 to 39 are designated Resource Burden and receive subsistence-level allocation with mandatory protocol adherence. Citizens whose scores remain below 25 for seven consecutive days qualify for Resource Reclamation assignment. The JNA is committed to supporting every citizen's path toward improved optimization.

  • Resource Reclamation Program

Resource Reclamation is the JNA's program for citizens whose Efficiency Scores indicate sustained inability to contribute meaningfully to collective optimization goals. Citizens assigned to Resource Reclamation Units receive structured support, skills realignment, and supervised protocol adherence designed to restore productive contribution. Assignment is not punitive. It is a resource allocation decision made in the interest of both the individual citizen and the broader optimized society. Citizens with questions about Resource Reclamation eligibility should consult their designated Optimization Facilitator.

  • Efficiency Diagnostic Portal

The Efficiency Diagnostic Portal analyzes 2,347 daily productivity variables including sleep cycle optimization, nutritional intake timing, task completion velocity, interpersonal communication efficiency, and micro-expression calibration. The portal provides citizens with real-time visibility into their performance metrics, personalized optimization protocols, and projected score trajectories. Diagnostic completion is mandatory for all citizens above 18 years of age. Initial assessment must be completed within 72 hours of account activation. Citizens who do not complete activation within the required window are assigned provisional scores defaulting to the Beaver tier pending full assessment.

  • Creative Activity and Optimization Standards

Research conducted across fourteen optimization sectors between 2029 and 2034 established consistent correlations between unstructured creative expenditure and measurable reductions in productivity output, social compliance metrics, and cognitive alignment scores. The JNA's Resource Efficiency Directive of 2035 reallocated funding previously designated for arts programming to sectors demonstrating higher efficiency returns. Unauthorized creative activity is classified as an optimization variance and addressed through standard protocol intervention. Citizens seeking creative expression are encouraged to direct that impulse toward approved civic contribution programs, which offer structured outlets aligned with optimization goals.

  • Optimization Variance Monitoring

The JNA is aware of a small number of individuals operating outside approved optimization protocols in designated monitoring zones. These individuals engage in unauthorized preservation of pre-optimization cultural materials classified as efficiency variances under the Resource Efficiency Directive. The JNA does not consider these activities a significant threat to societal optimization. Citizens who encounter individuals claiming membership in unauthorized organizations are encouraged to report the interaction through their Nexus Link interface. Engagement with optimization-variant individuals may affect social compliance metrics.

This document reflects current JNA optimization policy as of the 2045 compliance cycle. Policy updates are implemented continuously in response to evolving efficiency standards. Citizens are responsible for maintaining awareness of current protocols. Ignorance of optimization requirements does not exempt citizens from compliance assessment.
